Rowina Torres
Head director

Ms. Rowina Torres graduated Magna Cum Laude from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Music degree. She has been part of the Doerre Orchestra teaching staff since 2013. She is so lucky and blessed to have been able to grow up and now teach in  Klein ISD, proudly graduating from Klein Forest High School.

Her hobbies include spending a lot of time with her family and fiancé, trying new and yummy foods, and hanging out with her puppy, Coda!  Ms. Torres is so excited to see where the Doerre Orchestra path will lead this year!!!

The six levels of orchestra are team taught by Ms. Rowina Torres and Ms. Anna Clement. A huge part of the success of the program is due to the excellent team teaching efforts of the other Directors in the KHS and KOHS clusters:

  • Mr. Creston Herron and Ms.Tanya Chanphanitpornkit, Orchestra Directors of Klein HS,

  • Ms. Dawn Multop and Mr. Luke Jackson, Orchestra Directors of Kleb Intermediate,
